Leadership is shown in Ender through three of import points: his willingness to make, his way of being compassionate and observant, and his drive to not wholly be good, solely to be the best. In the beginning of the book, Ender lives in a household with his parents and his two older siblings, Peter and Valentine. Peter, being the fir st child, is cruel and hateful towards Ender because he believes Ender took his chances of being elect for the elite training school.
